PLANIFI 2024 Q4 Update

1.     View All Phases re-design.

Based on customer feedback Planifi removed the checkboxes on the right side because many found having checkboxes on both sides confusing.  Now simply click on the start or end cell to schedule a phase.  To make changes to multiple phases or Un-Schedule phases or tasks check the boxes on the left and choose any of the menu options at the top of the screen.

2.        On the Plan Tab moved tabs out from the Column View drop down and into the header bar to make tabs more accessible.

3.        On the Projects & Employee Tabs moved tabs out from the drop down and into the header bar to make tabs more accessible.

4.        Added Other Assignments to the Employee Grid view to show other projects that employees on this Plan are scheduled to work on.

5.        Added capacity % and utilization % summaries as options to the Employee Grid view to show a summary by week at the top.

6.        Added Capacity By Role tab to summarize capacity by company role, then employee, projects and phase.

7.        Made columns resizable on project and employee grids.

You can now resize column widths like you would in excel.

8.        Match Plan to Actual now will spread a negative variance.

For example is an employee was only scheduled to work 20 hours and they worked 40, the variance would be -20.  Using the match will now increase the planned hours in the past and reduce the future planned hours by 20 hours.  Note it will not assign negative hours so if the employee only had 10 hours planned in the future it will reduce it to 0 not -10.

9.        Employee Skill capturing and reporting.

8.        Added Revenue factor forecasting to the project tab grid.
