1. Improved Schedule Zoom to Quarters
Based on customer feedback Planifi removed the checkboxes on the right side because many found having checkboxes on both sides confusing. Now simply click on the start or end cell to schedule a phase. To make changes to multiple phases or Un-Schedule phases or tasks check the boxes on the left and choose any of the menu options at the top of the screen.
2. Added Skill Search filtering for employees
Skills filtering and searching has been enhanced to limit employee search results for employees that match your skill set search results.
3. Added Consultant, Expense, and Gross options to the Billing/Revenue Projection
Planifi has added remaining Consultants and Expense budgets spread over the duration of the scheduled phases, which also enabled the ability to project a Gross monthly billing or revenue projection.
3. Add Assignment Mode Editing to the Grid
You can view and modify the total or weekly assignments modes in the project grid. Just enable the Working Hours column in schema at the Employee/WBS3 level.
Then you can adjust the hours and the assignment mode.
4. Add Charts options to the grid
Schema’s now support adding charts to the grid for % based metrics.
5. Added Deliverable Notifications to the Employee & Project Grid
No if deliverables are scheduled they will be visible in either the employee or project grid for they week they are scheduled.
6. Show Project Team in the Schedule View
To enhance schedule visualization the ability to list the employees with the average hours per week their scheduled has been added to the schedule view. Just enable the Show Project Teams option to see the employees.
7. Pin/Freeze Columns and Auto Fit Column sizes
You can now Pin or Freeze any number of columns to the left-hand side of the grid. Use Pin to pin a single column or Pin to this to freeze that column and every column to the left of it. Additionally, Auto fit will size the column to match the largest value in the data set, much like excel.
8. Split/Postpone Phases into multiple timelines
You can now split a phase into multiple timelines to make it easier to adjust to holds or other times where work might start and stop multiple times.
9. Added Gross Summary
A Gross Summary is now available as Plan Summary, for customers that want to include all Consultants and Expenses as well as Gross.
10. Edit Notes in the grid views
You can now edit assignment notes in the project or employee grids.
11. Schedules are editable in the schedule tab
To make it easier to maintain project plans, you can now edit any scheduled phase in the schedule tab.
12. Shift Billing Projection based on the Average Days Outstanding by each clients ADO.
The Shift Billing option in the Billing projection will essentially convert the billing or revenue project to a receivable projection. Based on the Client for each project Planifi will use the average days outstanding for that client and shift the billing projection data into the month or period that the billing should be received.
13. Added Grouping Support to Planifi Grids.
Planifi grids can now be grouped by any column of your choice on the left-hand grid. Just right on the … menu in the column header and choose the Group By.
14. Added Rearrange/Move support for grid columns
You can now rearrange the column order after the grid has been loaded. Just click on the … menu in the column header choose one of the move options.
15. View and Schedule Unscheduled Phases
You can now schedule unscheduled phases in the Gantt grid by enabling the Show Unscheduled Phases option. Then by clicking on the date, or click on the grey column card the phase will be scheduled and you can adjust the schedule at that point.
16. Cashflow Projections
The Cashflow projection is an enhancement of the billing projection. Billing project data will be shifted to the month the billing is expected to be received based on each clients average days outstanding, and then based on configuration Planifi will subtract the amount of budgeted expenses, resulting in an estimated cashflow for each month.
17. Update Deltek Resource Planning
Planifi can now update resource planning data in the Deltek database.
18. Import From Deltek Resource Planning
Planifi can now import project schedules from Deltek Resource Planning.
19. Edit Discipline Budgets by Percentage of fee
To make it easier to maintain and update Discipline budgets, you can now edit the % of the budget for the phase that each discipline should receive.
20. Project Forecast based on Burn
The optional summary tab Project Forecast, will forecast the phase performance based on the current average burn rate for that phase.
21. Enhanced Deliverable Schedule
The visualization of the project deliverable schedule has been enhanced to better reflect the project schedule and utilize customer specific phase color codes.
22. Added Project History in Dollars
Project history can now be loaded to show the value in dollars instead of hours. Note history currently only supports one or the other not both modes.
23. Excel Gantt chart export of the schedule tab
Choosing all on the Schedule tab excel export will now include the Gantt chart data. Note this will be limited to ~2 years of data.
24. Shift Select Multiple Projects or Employees
Click the first Project or Employee and then hold shift and click to select a group of projects or employees.
25. Added 3 summary types for the employee grid:

26. Added a wizard that plans a generic resource from a teams based on Remaining Fee
This wizard will automatically assign the remaining free to a selected teams generic resource.
