The Outlook integration allows managers to see all their project deliverables on their projects and employees can see all of the deliverables that are assigned to them. Additionally employee's can have another calendar with their weekly assignments, which includes information about how many hours their scheduled for on an assignment over the upcoming weeks. It can also include how many hours they’ve been budgeted in total and how many hours they’ve spent against that budget to date.
To add the Calendar in Outlook click on your profile in the lower left corner of the screen.
Then in the new dialog click any of the titles to add the calendar to Outlook.
Additionally information on the Outlook calendar can be adjusted via global configuration (contact Planifi for support) or individuals may adjust their template.
Available variables are:
@hours: Hours scheduled that week.
@wbs1: Project level code/number
@wbs2: Phase/Wbs2 level code/number
@projectName: Project level name
@phaseName: Phase/Wbs2 level name
@notes: Notes entered for that assignment
@budget: Amount of hours budgeted for that assignment.
@spent: Amount of hours the employee has spent/charged to that projects phase/wbs2.
