Assignment Wizard to create projects from templates quickly
The assignment wizard allows users to quickly create a plan based on templates defined by the firm or the user.
Phases/Task that do not exist in the financial system can be created in Planifi
Phases or tasks that are not in the financial system can be created in Planifi. This can be useful to add potential phases and plan them sooner.
Discipline filtering is available on project staffing.
If Discipline budgeting is enabled the discipline filters can now be used on the project staffing tab.
Discipline can be overridden by assignment
If Discipline budgeting is enabled the discipline for a specific assignment can now be changed/overridden on each assignment.
Preview and select specific projects on Project Staffing
Users can now preview and select a single or subset of projects before loading the project staffing data.
Preview and select specific employees on Assignments
Users can now preview and select a single or subset of employees before loading the assignment data.
Add additional employees as managers/editors for a specific project
Users can add additional employees as managers/editors for projects.
This can be helpful if support staff or discipline leads also need access to edit and update a project plan.
Roles can now be assigned to a team
Roles can be added to teams, this can be helpful to filter to just a few Roles/Generic resources on the Assignments tab using show role.
A default team can now be specified
Users can now specify a default team to filter by.
A Reporting date (date basis) can be chosen
A reporting date can be specified now, this can be helpful if the user wants to report on the entire week or month.
For example if today is the 15 and you want to report on plans as if it were the 1st.
Schema's can now be shared between users
Schemas can be shared between users.
Team's can now be shared between users
