Filter at Phase
Filter at Phase allows you to search by Phase instead of by Project for the PM, PIC, or Supervisor. This can be helpful if an employee other than the project manager oversees all or part of the phase, or in cases where a discipline lead might be assigned one for those roles in phase. This allows that employee to find their projects easily on the Plan so they can review and make changes for the parts of the plan they are responsible for.
Show Unscheduled
This allows anyone to see what projects have not been scheduled at all in Planifi and therefore need to get scheduled.
Calendar Icon
The Calendar Icon in the Employee List or on the Plan tab can be clicked on to review where exactly an employee is scheduled to work.
4 & 8 Week Availability
The availability on the employee card shows how many hours per week an Average the employee is available to be scheduled in the next 4 weeks and in the 4-to-8-week window, essentially a 2-month look ahead.
Filter Plan
Filter Plan is used with the Team filter to hide employee’s on the Plan that is not on the Team. This is useful for a Discipline Lead or other manager that only wants to see the employees they are responsible for on the plan.
Edit Employee Weekly data
This allows managers to click on the edit employee and immediately start making changes to that employee’s weekly schedule on the project.
Update Range of Values
This allows managers to specify hours per week an employee should work over a given date range. For example, a phase may be scheduled for 4 months and the employee may be scheduled for 10 hours a week, but there may be extra work needed the last month so the manager may choose the start and end dates for the last month and change the 10 hours per week to 20 or 30 hours per week.
Partial Schedule
This allows managers to only schedule an employee for part of a phase. For example, a phase may be scheduled for 4 months and the employee only needed for the last month, the manager can simply choose the start and end times for when they need that employee.
Status Icons
The $ symbol next to each phase name will indicate whether the phase is projected to exceed its fee based on what’s been charged to the phase and how much work is still planned to be charged to the phase. The Exclamation Point next to phase names alerts managers that time has been charged to the phase that is not on the plan. The Red bar and Orange calendar icon let you know the employee is charging more than you planned. And the Period background lets you know an employee is only scheduled to work on part of the phase.
Deliverables
Deliverables can be specified in the task list by, either add a new task or on an existing check the Deliverable checkbox. The End Date for that task will be the Deliverable Due date for that task. On the TasK Milestone Dialog on the Plan tab, MS Project Export, and Forecast -> Schedule Tab the Deliverable will then show up as Milestone/Deliverable. If the Outlook integration is used then the Project Manager may see the deliverable on a Deliverable calendar for all their projects, and if an employee is assigned to the deliverable the employee will see that Deliverable on their Deliverable calendar.
Project Deliverables
Project Deliverables are used with the Outlook integration, if selected then all employees planned on the Deliverables Phase will see that Deliverable due date on their Outlook calendar.
Copying Plans or Estimates
The Import/Export tool may be used to copy any or all plan elements from Estimate or Plan to another. For example, it may be used to copy an Estimate with all the schedules and employees to a Plan, but it may also be used to just copy Delivables/tasks list from one Template to a Plan.

The Team View is a condensed grid view of the plan that can be grouped and exported to excel so that the Plan may be shared or saved as needed.

Show Other Details
Show Other Details allows managers to see detailed grid views of all of the hourly charges to the project; all of the Expense and Consultant changes along with Payment status such as Hold or Pay When Paid; and all of the project invoices in Billing.
Burn Tab
The Burn tab shows managers a summary by a financial period of how much labor was charged to the project, what was planned to be charged to the project, how much was earned, how much was Billed, and the historical Earned Value Percent. The manager may also update the Earned value for the current period.
